Prologue
The rain would never stop. I climbed the Alps in search of the Knucker dragon. Days have passed and still I've found not one sign of this dragon. This shall be my greatest discovery. Now I can show the colleagues I can find and track dragons on my own and girls are capable of doing everything men can do. I've heard knuckers take refuge in swamps and wetlands so at the bottom of the Alps. I'm hoping to find swamps inhabited by knuckers. I must rest for tomorrow shall be a busy day for me. The mountain is steep on the west side and I need to be careful not to slip and loose all of my equipment or I can't make it home.

The book closed. The rain outside caused the cave to echo of dripping sounds. The night elf lay down beside her fire and fell into deep slumber in a cave atop the Alps.
* * * * * * She awoke to the sound of rustling. She opened her eyes slowly to find a crimson European dragon searching through her backpack. She crept up to the wall as the dragon examined the fire she had made. The fire was still as big as it was last night, blazing and big,  and the wood showed no signs of being burned. The dragon took her vial of dragon's blood from her backpack and left the cave slowly. She sighed of relief and suddenly the dragon whipped its head around and looked at her straight in the eyes. She froze in fear. The dragon stared deeper into her eyes. Gwenaleise saw visions of destruction and hatred. The dragon came closer to her. It stepped into the fire and embers flew everywhere. The dragon smelled Gwenaleise and turned around to leave. Gwenaleise crept slowly to her bag. She pulled out her rope and tied it into a loop. She slowly stood up and whirled the rope around above her head. She threw the rope at the dragon and it caught around its neck. She pulled the rope and the dragon fell to the ground. She quickly tied the rope to a stalagmite. The dragon pulled and tugged but would never be set free until Gwenaleise examined it. Gwenaleise reached toward the dragon’s claws and it pulled away. She snatched the vial out of the dragon’s claws. She reached for her journal and sat near the fire.
I have successfully captured a dragon that has come into my cave at night and stole my vial f dragon’s blood. I hope to tame the dragon and use it for my steed.
She stopped writing and looked at the dragon as it stirred on the ground. She continued to write:
The training shall begin as soon as I get to Tekram, the capitol of Rin. I will hire the best trainer there is and ride this dragon back here to find the Knucker dragon.

She sat against the wall and waited for her dragon to fall asleep. Within the hour the dragon closed his eyes and fell asleep. Gwenaleise was exhausted. She herself soon fell asleep.
